As a Manager in our Talent Acquisition (TA) department, Justin’s leadership skills are paramount to the success of our organization’s recruitment and growth initiatives.

What is the TA team’s role at Acrisure?
In one sentence, our Talent Acquisition team solves the challenge of fragmented hiring by bringing recruitment in-house, uniting leaders under a consistent strategy, and helping to ensure Acrisure attracts and retains the right talent to fuel its rapid growth.
How do you define excellence in Talent Acquisition?
For me, three skills set great recruiters apart: collaboration, communication, and empathy. These qualities ensure the team can connect with leaders, understand business needs, and create a candidate experience that reflects Acrisure’s values.
How do you lead as a manager?
I balance autonomy with support by focusing on enablement. I make sure my team has the tools, training, and resources they need to be successful, and then empower them to make meaningful decisions in their work. This way, they have the confidence and ownership to operate independently, while knowing I’m always available to provide guidance, remove roadblocks, and support their growth.

When I’m not recruiting top talent and working on strategic workforce planning, you can find me playing volleyball, spending time with friends and family, exercising, or enjoying the outdoors.
