What drew you to Acrisure?
I was excited about this opportunity because of Acrisure’s growth, strong technology support, and investment from executive leadership. It’s exciting to have the opportunity to assemble a high-performing recruiting team. Talent Acquisition plays a critical role in building our organization, and that excites me.
What is the Midwest TA team’s role at Acrisure?
Our Midwest TA team solves the challenge of connecting the right talent with the right opportunities at the right time to drive business growth.
What are three skills that separate good employees from great employees on your team?
I would say strategic alignment with business goals, smart and efficient use of data and technology, and strong relationship-building that drives trust and results.
How do you lead as a manager?
By partnering closely with the team, we focus on setting goals and expectations, so we understand what success looks like together. I also try to empower each team member to take ownership of their work and make decisions confidently, while staying available for guidance, coaching, and removing obstacles when necessary.

Who thrives on this team?
People who thrive on my team tend to be proactive, collaborative, and team oriented. They take ownership of their own work while actively seeking and offering support to others. They value open communication, appreciate teamwork, and are motivated by goals, continuous improvement, and helping others be successful.
Rapid fire with Britt
Coffee Order: I’m not a coffee drinker, although I worked as a Barista in college. I can make it, just not drink it.
First Job: My first job was at a golf course. While I loved the free golf benefit, it also helped me develop strong customer service, relationship-building, teamwork, and communication skills, which I’ve leaned on in my talent acquisition career.
Recruiting Superpower: I would say building strong relationships with hiring managers and quickly identifying potential in candidates that others may not see.
Favorite KPI: My favorite KPIs are both hiring manager and candidate satisfaction. Tracking how both candidates and hiring leaders feel about the process helps ensure we’re building a strong employer brand and leaving every interaction positive.
What keeps you energized outside of the office?
A round of golf always puts me in a good place. The physical activity, mental focus, social interaction, and strategy are all beneficial, but perhaps most important of all is the patience required.
