Acrisure Strengthens UK Broking Platform with Latest Rebrands

London, UNITED KINGDOM, 1 October 2025  Acrisure, the global fintech leader, continues to scale its UK presence and build a unified, trusted brand across the insurance sector. In line with its growth strategy, Acrisure has rebranded two established British brokerages, Hine Chartered Insurance Brokers and CRK Commercial Insurance Services, which will now operate under the Acrisure name.

This move further advances Acrisure’s ambition to build a unified, client-centric broking platform in the UK, following the recent rebrands of Sutton Winson, Affinity Brokers, FinCred and Building and Land Guarantees (BLG). All now operate under the Acrisure identity – a reflection of the company’s commitment to improving operational synergy, service delivery and client experience across its offices.

“It’s been an incredibly exciting year for Acrisure in the UK as we expand our footprint and bring more of our partners under one unified brand” said Mark McIlquham, UK CEO at Acrisure. “This step comes during a pivotal period of growth and reflects our strategy to unite top talent, sector expertise, digital innovation and local insight under one trusted name. It also marks Acrisure’s broader transformation from a network of acquired businesses into a cohesive, forward-looking entity with a clear market position. Our long-term vision remains to build a world-class offering accessible to every business and private client in the country – and these rebrands are another important milestone on that journey.”

With the rebrand, Hine, an award-winning Chartered insurance broker with more than 45 years of experience, is the first of Acrisure’s acquired brokers in Northern England to adopt the Acrisure brand, offering tailored insurance and risk management for both private and commercial clients.

Paul Hine, Director, Didsbury Office, Acrisure UK Broking, said: “From the foundations laid by my father in building Hine as an independent broker, to now joining Acrisure’s global business, this represents a proud moment in our journey. It marks next stage in our evolution and positions us to accelerate our growth.”

Tom Brown, Managing Director, Didsbury Office, Acrisure UK Broking, said: “Our business has always been about delivering best-in-class service, built on trust and relationships. By adopting the Acrisure brand, we’re enhancing that offering with the technology, scale and global network of one of the world’s leading fintech firms.

In the Midlands, CRK, a commercial insurance specialist known for its expertise in the manufacturing and engineering sectors, has also adopted the Acrisure brand. Founded in 2000, CRK has rapidly scaled over the past two decades and joins BLG as the second Acrisure broker operating from the region.

“We’ve been part of the Acrisure family since 2022, and this rebrand is the natural next step for our business,” said Garry Hurd, Managing Director, Specialist Schemes Division, Acrisure UK Broking. “We’re proud of our heritage and expertise, and being part of a globally recognised company further enhances our proposition to clients.”

The UK broking business is supported by operations including Acrisure Re, Acrisure London Wholesale, three Managing General Agents (MGAs), and the Eleven Network.

Acrisure in the UK comprises 19 offices and employs more than 800 people nationwide. It is involved in a range of community and sports partnerships, including its role as official insurance partner for Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club and shirt sponsor of the women’s team, The Blaze.
