NEW YORK, Monday 20 October: Acrisure Re, the reinsurance division of global fintech leader Acrisure, today announced the appointment of Dan Morrison as Senior Vice President, effective immediately. Based in New York, Morrison will report to Michael Cross, President, Acrisure Re North America.
In his new role, Morrison will support Acrisure’s in-house U.S. delegated underwriting team, a key client for Acrisure Re through its expanding portfolio of programs. He will lead initiatives to strengthen and expand carrier and reinsurer partnerships, while advancing program development across Acrisure. Working closely with business leaders, he will help deliver portfolio and bespoke re/insurance solutions that reinforce the Company’s growth strategy and its ongoing commitment to innovation and strong partnerships.
Morrison joins Acrisure Re from Millennial Specialty Solutions (MSI), where he served as Director, Capacity Solutions since 2021. Prior to that, he held roles as Senior Program Underwriter and Financial Analyst at Trisura Insurance Company.
