Irvine, CA, June 2, 2023 - Acrisure today announced the formation of Acrisure Protection Group, a full-service finance and insurance (F&I) and property and casualty (P&C) brokerage, training, compliance and consulting specialist, and producer of anti-theft hardware, dedicated to the shifting needs of U.S.-based auto dealers. It consists of a national network of approximately 3,000 active dealers across 50 states.

In May, Acrisure announced it will begin to unify the Company under a single brand to best represent its status as a global Fintech leader that offers multiple financial products and services to millions of businesses and individual clients. Further, the Company will organize by geographic region and operating platforms led by existing Acrisure Partners. Acrisure Protection Group is the first example of a platform to form in this model. It is led by Vernon Leake, who previously ran SWDS Holdings, an Acrisure Partner based in Irvine, California. Prior to joining SWDS, Vernon was CEO and co-founder of Century Automotive Service Corporation, a MAPFRE company. SWDS is among the agencies rebranding to Acrisure Protection Group.
