As Chief Accounting Officer, Barb is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate consolidated financial reporting for the organization’s 375+ Agency Partners, both domestic and international. Her work to transform the Accounting function allowed Acrisure to scale critical services to Agency Partners, develop and share key financial learnings with stakeholders and support employee development.

Barb graduated from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids with a BSBA in Accounting and has since developed into one of the preeminent insurance accounting experts in the industry. During the past 30 years, she was focused on serving the insurance industry as an auditor with BDO USA, LLP. Barb was promoted to Audit Partner in July 2005 and Co-Lead of BDO’s National Insurance Practice in July 2013, where she was instrumental in the development of industry specific audit and training programs for BDO USA’s National Insurance Practice.
