My Why and Why I Chose Evolution

I was attracted to Evolution Advisors because of its vision and mission. After meeting Greg Williams and the Acrisure team, I realized that this is something special and very much a continuation of my personal journey.

Evolution Advisors is a joint venture whose Founding Partners include Acrisure, Super Bowl Champion Russell Wilson, his wife Ciara (a multiple Grammy Award winner, with 30.6 million Instagram followers!), and 9-time NBA All-Star Russell Westbrook. It is a motivating, galvanizing force and I wanted to be part of the action.

The foundation that has been set by our founder capitalizes upon my corporate, educational, entrepreneurial, social and cultural upbringings, and through this platform, I am collaborating with some of the best minds in fintech.

Russell Wilson and Ciara said it best: “We believe in the power of ownership and our hope is that through this partnership, we can help create a path for diverse communities to build up their own businesses and infrastructure. It’s always been important for us to give back to the community and now more so than ever, we recognize that minority-owned businesses need to be afforded more opportunities.”

As we continue to build out the enterprise, I am energized by the shift – evolution – in the way minority communities are served. I continue to be amazed by the energy I get from talking to Acrisure colleagues: there is a sense of purpose and intention and that is appealing and encouraging. I’ve always wanted to be part of something bigger than myself and I found it at Evolution Advisors.
